The memories made on this trip will last a lifetime, and have also led to some pretty hilarious inside jokes. Feeling like one of the family and celebrating the love between these two was such an honor for me( and my second shooter husband who totally rocked it) we ate, we drank, we danced and had a genuine great time.
If you are deciding between a wedding at home and destination, I AM TELLING YOU: CHOOSE DESTINATION. My husband and I both said that if we could do our wedding all over again we would HANDS DOWN do a destination. The stress level is at zero and it’s truly all about the couple and not the Aunt that you had to invite or your mom would never hear the end of it…. you married people know what I’m talking about right? Seriously though, I wanted to know why Valerie and Edgar chose to do a Destination wedding and here are some of the things she told me.
Me: What was the reason why you wanted to have a destination wedding? Feel free to include multiple factors
Valerie: ” MONEYYYY. For our wedding AND honeymoon we spent less than half of several of my friends did just for their wedding.
We weren’t into throwing a party for other people. With my sisters wedding, I didn’t get to enjoy it and I was the maid of honor. I’m not even sure who all was there. I tell EVERYONE to do destination. I feel like we enjoyed it more than my sisters and she will even tell you to do destination.”
